This is a best palace for students and senior citizens
Books are not updated older than 4 years and very shouting in library. Air conditioner is not working in summer. Toilet is not clean.
At Same location, Bengali Book Fairs usually held. Now, 4 Days Boi Mela cum Cultural Festival is going on till Sunday 19th March '23. Leading Publishers from Bangladesh & West Bengal, Tripura & Delhi regularly participate
AC available but max books outdated but they are improving in this matter membership fee is only 20 rs. for 5 years but now a days its free you can avail this limited offer
This is a decent place. Though it gets very hot in summers as there no air conditioning, just ceiling fans. Maximum books are for civil services examination aspirants, though books on literature and engineering entrances are also here in good number. The major problem is that there is no punctuality in regard of opening and closing times. That's a bummer. You'll find it available by 12'o clock in the afternoon and closed at around 5 in evening.
