Visited Prime Ministers Museum during my Delhi trip and it turned out to be a really interesting and unique experience. If anyone is planning to visit, I’d definitely suggest booking tickets online in advance because it saves time and makes the entry process smoother. It’s better to check the latest timings and activity details online before visiting. The museum is not just about reading history on walls — the whole place is designed in a very modern and interactive way. There are multiple digital galleries, immersive rooms, holograms, audio-visual presentations, and many interesting exhibits related to all the Prime Ministers of India. Even people who are not very interested in politics can still enjoy the experience because of how engaging everything feels. One of the most fun parts was the interactive activities available inside. You can click a “Selfie with PM”, do a virtual “Walk with PM”, get a personalized handwritten-style letter from your favourite Prime Minister, and even experience a VR/6D helicopter ride which shows major projects and future development visuals of India. These activities honestly make the visit more memorable. Another interesting part was getting to see the preserved rooms and office areas related to leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi. Seeing their working spaces, personal rooms, and setup gives a very different feel and makes the place feel more connected to real history instead of just a normal museum. The helicopter ride and AR experiences were especially interesting because they make the museum feel more futuristic instead of like a traditional boring museum. The overall presentation, lighting, technology, and maintenance were really impressive. I’d recommend keeping at least 2–3 hours for the visit because there’s a lot to explore properly. Reaching a bit early is also a good idea so you don’t have to rush through the galleries and activities. Overall, it was a very different experience and one of the most modern museums I’ve visited in Delhi. You get to learn a lot about India’s journey and leadership history in a very engaging way. Definitely worth visiting at least once with friends or family.

The museum highlights the making of the constitution and related activities of the governance of the country. The artifacts received by the Prime minister's are also displayed. Information about type of democracy in various parts of the country is displayed in a video.

I recently visited the Prime Minister Museum (Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya) in New Delhi and it was a truly memorable experience! The museum beautifully showcases the journey of India’s leaders and the nation’s development through interactive exhibits, engaging galleries, and immersive displays. It’s both educational and fun – perfect for families, students, history lovers, and anyone curious about India’s story. TIMINGS: The museum’s timings are generally 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM from Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays and gazetted holidays), so it’s easy to plan a half-day visit. TICKET FARE: Indian adults (12+): ~₹50–₹100 depending on weekday/weekend Children (5–12 yrs): ~₹40–₹50 Infants (under 5): Free Foreign nationals: Higher prices apply (approx. ₹200–₹750) Separate tickets are available for the light & sound shows, and combination options are also offered. LIGHT AND SOUND SHOW: In the evening, the museum hosts an amazing Light & Sound Show that narrates India’s journey through history with music, visuals, and storytelling. There are usually two shows — one in Hindi and one in English with timings roughly around 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM (Hindi) and 8:15 PM to 8:45 PM (English). You’ll need a separate ticket for this show, but it’s a great way to end your visit. Overall, the Prime Minister Museum is a must-visit in Delhi if you’re interested in India’s leaders and national history – informative, beautifully curated, and engaging for visitors of all ages! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Prime Ministers’ Museum is a really well-designed and modern experience. The exhibits are interactive, engaging, and give a clear look into the lives and contributions of India’s Prime Ministers. The use of technology—videos, holograms, and touchscreens—makes the visit enjoyable and informative. The place is spacious and well-maintained, though it can get a bit crowded at peak hours, and some sections take time to navigate. Still, it’s one of the best modern museums in Delhi and definitely worth visiting if you’re interested in India’s political history.

It’s a must visit place if you are planning to visit Delhi. The places will take you back in time to the nostalgic era of politics and our leaders. Then it will bring you the age of modern India and its roots along with our leadership taking India to the world. If you are a foreigner then this will give the actual picture of what our country has been through and where we stand today. IT’s a must visit place for every foreigner and for Indian. Sadly such places you will not find in social media much and there is not much hype but the place is worth to be hyped. I suggest to visit late in the evening and then do watch the NIGHT SHOW. NIGHT SHOW IS A MUCH WATCH it has English & Hindi Version but it’s worth the watch even if it’s get little late. Also don’t forget to take the helicopter ride simulator it’s worth the show. Loved it. Will surely take all my family & friends here again. Also the collection of books with constitutional amendments and other KB articles are worth a read. Gives so much insight about our history. Also the show on Indian Army about our military jets and the effects of the 4D does gives a goosebumps. Best part the quality of these machines are top notch. Travelling so many countries when I see this place it gives me immense pride. Thanks to Prime Minister Modi and his leadership vision for making turning this place from old to gold. 🙏
