I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding the library's recently implemented rules, which forbid the use of printed study materials, personal laptops, and tablets. My initial visit two years ago left me deeply impressed; the library was a vibrant, fully utilized space—a rare and fantastic resource for students. However, the current restrictions feel counterproductive and are, in my view, actively discouraging serious study. The mandate to solely utilize books physically available within the library is highly restrictive and an untenable barrier to comprehensive learning. For instance, there are no books available for many specialized fields, such as the maritime syllabus. For students in these areas, studying here becomes impossible. This imposition effectively limits the library’s utility, turning what was a public study space into a highly selective reading room. The negative impact is already visible: my recent visit showed a nearly vacant library (as the current review photo illustrates), a distressing change from the bustling energy I captured in my previous review's photo. I implore the top management and stakeholders to immediately review these rules. If the goal is to maintain decorum, I propose focusing on conduct-based policies (e.g., barring those using the library for leisure) rather than material-based rules that prevent students from effective study. Please reconsider your decision. Do not let these rules transform what was a truly exceptional study environment into an underutilized museum. In the end sir everything got digitalised so please digitalise your feedback form so we can update the top management regarding all the problems at the grass root level.

Born in the 80s and this is my 1st time that I not only went to a public library but fell in love with it. It felt like I want to be a child again and grow up with similar library accessible to me. This is such a great thoughtful initiative by Coforge Limited which should be generously adopted by other corporates to increase the accessibility of quality books to all helping inculcate a lifelong habit of good reading. Reading is knowledge. And physical books must live forever. The CPL has spacious interiors, variety of comfortable cafe style seating options, good variety of books, separate section for kids, free reading at libray, affordable membership to rent one book and last but not the least free drinking water and super clean washroom! What else does one want?
